Five Entertainment Venues at Rowan University

Rowan University has a ton of opportunities for entertainment on campus. But where can you find it? Here are five venues for students to find fun on campus.

To find on-campus entertainment, you can always check out the Rowan University website. You will have to browse the site in order to find something specific but it is helpful to have a home page to go to. You can even check out Rowan’s Facebook and  Twitter pages to learn more about what’s happening on campus.

The Department of Theatre and Dance puts on various shows throughout the school year. This semester, they will be performing “Who Will Carry the Word”, “Guys and Dolls” and many other productions. Check out their Facebook page for updates and schedules of upcoming shows.

The Office of Student Activities serves as one of the top places to find entertainment on campus. They serve as the umbrella for sources of entertainment on campus. Check out their Facebook  and Twitter for updates of what’s happening on campus.

Held every Thursday through Saturday from 9 p.m.-1 a.m., Rowan After Hours (RAH)  provides students with ways to get involved on campus while promoting healthy decisions. Overall, it gives students opportunities to have fun without the alcohol and parties associated with college students. For updates, you can add them as a friend on Facebook or follow them on Twitter .

Rowan Student University Programmers (SUP) provides students with trips, movie nights and performances. Upcoming performances include comedian Joel McHale and Profstock 2013 with performances by DJ Xtina, Dev, B.O.B. and Sublime. Check out their Facebook and Twitter for updates on all of these events and more.

  1. This is a really cool post. I really like all of the hyperlinks throughout the post and the tag section is really good, too. I like that there are specific examples within the list so that the reader knows what kind of events that organization likes to do. The graphics are also a good way of adding more interest to the post. It may have been helpful to provide a few examples of the kinds of events RAH usually holds but overall this is a really great post.
